Mom's Buttery Pecan Tarts

These delicious pecan tarts are perfect for any special occasion. They come together in around 10 minutes but taste like they took hours!

Ingredients
  

Crust:

  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 pack Cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour

Filling:

  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecan
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • To make the crust: Add butter, cream cheese and flour to a bowl. Using a fork blend the ingredients together to a pie dough consistency.
  • Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and put into a mini muffin tin. Press the dough into the muffin tin cup until it lines the cup.
  • Make the filling: add all filling ingredients to a bowl and mix well with a fork or in a mixer on low.
  • Fill the dough cups with the pecan filling until just below the edge of the dough. Place in a 375F oven for 35-40 minutes. Let cool completely and enjoy!
